I’ve never been able to enjoy dome baseball but I feel like I would more in Florida or Arizona.

It's pretty simple. Watch games and go to games with your kids if you can when they're old enough to share your love of baseball. Including minor league games, which are much cheaper and very fun in their own way. It's a great way to spend time with them, and ballpark food/snacks are awesome for kids even if they aren't really into the game.

But don't push a team on a kid. Let them decide for themselves. If they really catch the bug, it will be a lifelong relationship, so it should be their call.

The Mets kids club is the best deal in NYC. From age 2-12 my daughter ran the bases every non pandemic season. Plus you get free tix and other perks. Look it up dude, you’ll be sold. And Citi is way more fun for kids.

She joined the newly created Teen Club this year and went to to her first solo Mets game.

Oakland fan here but I lived in L.A. forever and root for the Dodgers as well.

Cool write up. Thanks for sharing.

P.S. you got that Jordan Upper Deck baseball card?

Sorry for your loss. Stinks they’re leaving. I’ve got a 91 Jordan where he’s in a uni and taking practice swings and another from when he played in the minors. Is there a new one?

Yep. That’s the one. Pretty iconic card. I know I was chasing it as a then-15 year old.
